As we continue to transition through phases of the pandemic, it is understandable that masking requirements** may be confusing.
While many have begun the return to a life resembling our pre-pandemic routines, some of us cannot. Those who are immuno-compromised or suffer from other medical conditions continue to need protection from COVID infection.
Dental health is extremely important for all and is especially important for anyone having significant health challenges. Just last week, we had patients in our office who are organ transplant recipients, are on the organ donor list, are undergoing cancer treatments, are on immunosuppressants, or are receiving required dental care prior to a major surgery. Masking in the public areas of our office provides these patients an additional layer of protection. (Surgical masks available at the office upon request).
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have been very aggressive implementing COVID related protections. Our installation of ventilation, air filtration, and negative pressure have proven to be very wise investments, all of which will continue to protect our patients and team members for years to come.
